“Sweetheart, Keep Your Chin Up” is finally here, and we are so proud of it (and of ourselves, for surviving the long and expensive production process). We could never have accomplished it without the wonderful, fantastic people who were kind enough to pre-order the record, thereby helping us finance a portion of the studio time & and printing costs. MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
This is going to be a busy year for us. We’re starting off with big European tour - Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium - before the official CD release in the US! We’re hoping to hit Canada this year as well (any ideas are appreciated), and before the year is out I dare say we’ll have been back to Scandinavia and the UK as well…..
As always, we love booking house concerts, so email us if you want to have us play your living room/backyard/front porch. And if you are in college, tell your university arts folks about us - we’d love to come play your school! And while you’re catching up on everything, be our fan on Facebook (link please) and tag yourself on our fan map on MySpace (link please) so we’ll know where to book our tours!
So back to this fancy new album…..
You can listen to many of the songs here, on MySpace, or on Last FM. You can buy the record here, at CD Baby, at iTunes… tons of places, actually, but those are our favorites.
Buy a CD for the New Year, for Valentine’s Day, or St. Patrick’s Day, (let’s skip April Fools)…..Easter…. pick a holiday, birthday, any day…. regardless of the day you choose, we completely and totally appreciate your support. We’re trying to do this “for real” and every CD sold will help more than you know.
Thank you for giving us the chance to do what we love. We hope the music pays you back for all the love you’ve shown us.
See you at a show! Thanks for listening and Happy New Year.

I am so happy to see that you are getting things together BEFORE things really start to move more quickly than you ever thought that they would (which they will). To watch a rising star rise is so gratifying as well as wondrous to behold. Grow Vanessa, grow!
A true fan,
